I am the Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton) and the Director of AARMS (the Atlantic Association for Research in the Mathematical Sciences).

My current research is focussed on various aspects of gravitational theory including modified gravity, cosmology, and quantum gravity; as well as the mathematical modelling of COVID-19.

I am also interested in fostering collaborations between mathematical scientists in Atlantic Canada and non-academic entities, primarily through the AARMS Industrial Problem Solving Workshop program; as well engaging with the public though the media and outreach initiatives, such as the AARMS-Girl Guides All SySTEMs Go events.
