I am the Dean of Science at the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton) as well as a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
My current research is focussed on various aspects of gravitational theory including modified gravity, cosmology, and quantum gravity; the mathematical modelling of COVID-19; financial market forecasting; and other topics.
I am also interested in fostering collaborations between scientists and non-academic entities through initiatives such as the AARMS Industrial Problem Solving Workshop program; as well engaging with the public though the media and outreach activities, such as the AARMS-Girl Guides All SySTEMs Go events.
